*의무보험# 1. Bodily Injury Liability Coverage

This coverage typically applies if, as an insured person, you’re legally obligated to pay damages due to bodily injury to others arising from a covered loss.

The limits for this coverage are displayed as two separate dollar amounts: the limit per person and per occurrence. For example, you might desire a $100,000 limit for each person and $300,000 limit for each occurrence when choosing your Bodily Injury Liability Coverage.

사람당 2만불 사고당 4만불의 보험을 들어야 한다. 보통은 10만불/30만불을 든다. 상대방에 입힌 부상에 대해 지급되는 보험이고 만약 소송이 있을 경우 소송비용으로도 지불될 수 있다.

2. Uninsured Motorist Bodily Injury Insurance

This generally pays for damages an insured person is legally entitled to recover from the owner or operator of an uninsured auto due to bodily injury sustained by an insured person in a covered loss.

The limits for this coverage are displayed as two separate coverage limits: the limit for each person and the limit for each accident.

3.Underinsured Motorist Bodily Injury Coverage This generally pays for damages an insured person is legally entitled to recover from the owner or operator of an underinsured auto due to bodily injury sustained by an insured person in a covered loss.An underinsured auto is a motor vehicle, which has liability protection in effect and applicable at the time of the accident in an amount equal to or greater than the amounts specified for bodily injury liability by the financial laws of Arizona, but less than the applicable damages the insured person is legally entitled to recover.

This coverage typically applies if you, as an insured person, are legally obligated to pay for damage to or destruction of other people’s property, arising out of a covered loss

최소한 2만불은 들어야 하고 요즈음 차 가격이 비싸니 10만불이나 20만불정도는 드는 것이 좋다. 상대방의 차나 자산에 대해 지불되는 보험이다. 미시간에서는 보통 지불되지 않고 타주에서의 사고에 대해 지불된다.

#5.Medical Payments Coverage

This typically provides coverage to an insured person for reasonable and necessary medical expenses as a result of bodily injury caused by a covered auto accident. Examples of expenses include: ambulance, hospital, medical, surgical, x-ray, dental, orthopedic and prosthetic devices, pharmaceuticals, eyeglasses, hearing aids, funeral service expenses and professional nursing services.

본인의 사고로 인한 부상과 손상에 대해 지불되는 보험이다. 한 집에 사는 가족들에게도 지불되며 동승자에게도 지불 된다. 본인 부담금 있게 또는 없게 들수 있고 본인에게 건강보험이 있는 경우 15% 가량의 할인을 받을 수 있으며 이 경우 의료비는 일차적으로 건강보험에서 지불되고 건강보험이 적용되지 않는 것, 한도를 넘은 것에 대해서만 지불된다. ( 예를 들면 응급차 비용 등)

Collision

Collision Coverage typically covers an insured auto for damage caused by a collision with another object or from the auto being overturned.Collision Coverage is usually required if you have an auto loan or lease.

Here, you choose a deductible amount instead of a limit. The deductible is the portion of a covered loss that you pay before the insurance company becomes responsible for payment under the policy. A larger deductible usually means a lower premium.

Insurance 본인 차량의 수리비에 대해 지급되고 본인 차량이 전파되었을 경우에도 지급된다. 보통 차량 전파라고 말할수 있는 기준은 수리비가 차량가격의 75%이상이나 70% 정도만 되어야 해준다. 중고차 가격을 지불해 주는데 생각보다 많이 받을 수 있어 더 좋은 차를 살수 있다. 보통은 Regular Collision 이나 Broadened Collision 을 500불 공제액 있게 드는 것이 좋다. Loan 을 받아서 차를 사는 경우에도 미니멈으로 앞과 같이 요구한다.

No Collision Coverage: 이걸 선택하면 자차 수리비는 본인이 100% 부담해야 한다. 미시간내의 사고에 대해서 본인 잘못이 적을 경우 가해자에게서 500불 까지 받을 수 있다. 타주에선 상대방의 보험회사에서 자차 손상에 대해 제한적으로 지급받을 수 있다.

Limited Collision Coverage w/wo Deductible: 본인의 잘못이 50%가 넘지 않은 경우에만 지불된다. Deductible 을 둘 수도 있다.

Regular Collision Coverage: 본인 차량에 대해 잘못에 관계없이 deductible을 뺀 액수만큼 본인또는 정비소에 지불된다. 본인 잘못이 50% 가 넘지 않는 경우엔 500불까지 가해자에게 청구할 수 있다. 미시간주 밖에서도 마찬가지도 적용받는다. (보험회사끼리 해결하도록 놔두자.)

Broadened Collision Coverage: 본인 차량에 대해, 본인의 잘못이 50% 가 넘지 않는 경우, 전액 수리비및 전파시 차량가액이 지불된다. 본인 잘못이 클 경우엔 deductible을 뺀 금액만큼만 지불된다. Meijer 나 Kroger등지에서 범퍼나 펜더등을 살짝 받쳤는데 누가 했는지 모를 경우 아주 도움이 된다. 이 경우 보통 수리비가 600불에서 1000불 정도인데 전액 지불되므로 부담이 없다. 그렇지만 보험료가 보통 Regular Collision 때보다 6개월에 100불 정도 더 비싸다. 가해자를 모르고 못잡은 사고일때 경찰 보고서 없이도 적용을 받아서 아주 도움이 된다.

Comprehensive Insurance 본인의 차가 주차되어 있는 동안에 차 이외의 것에 의해 입은 손해를 보상하는 보험이다. 화재, 도난, 지진 등에 의해 대해 지불된다. 미시간에서는 운전중 돌에 의한 유리창의 손상에 대해서도 이 보험으로 수리받는다. 미시간의 도로 사정은 많은 눈으로 인해 좋지 않다. 작은 돌등이 많이 차에 튈수있다. 그러므로 100불 deductible 정도로 드는 것이 유리하다. 유리창을 고치는데는 50불, 교체시에는 100불 deductible을 뺀 수리비를 지불해준다. Henderson등에 가면 100불 정도는 할인해주니 본인 부담없이 고칠 수 있다. 　
Emergency Road Service 사고등의 이유로 차운행이 불가능할 경우 service call 및 견인에 대해 지불된다. 휘발유가 없을 경우 열쇠를 잃어버리거나 차안에 놔두었을때도 service call 에 대해 지불된다. 먼저 지불하고 보험회사에 청구해도 된다. 　
Car Rental and Travel Expenses 하루에 약 25불 씩 아니면 50불씩 최대 30일까지 지불된다. 집에서 50마일 이상 떨어진 곳에서 사고가 났을 경우엔 숙비및 식비에 대해서도 지불해 준다. 　
Limited Property Damage Liability 미시간 내의 사고에 대해 본인 잘못이 클 경우 500불 내로 소액소송이나 claim에 대해 지불해 준다. 　
Additional Work Loss 의무 보험의 Work Loss에 첨가된다. 1000불씩 더 지불되며 5년간 지불해준다. 본인 월급이 보통 6천불이 넘지 않으면 혜택을 받을 수 없으므로 잘 고려해야 한다. 　
Uninsured Motor Vehicle 상대방이 타인에 대한 보험이 없을 경우나 뺑소니쳤을 경우 본인 신체 부상에 대해 지급된다. 필자는 사람당 10만불 사고당 30만불로 들고 있는데 별로 해택은 보지 못하고 있다.

There are many things to do in Tucson, AZ. I’ve never been there but will be there soon so I want to know what to do in Tucson before I get there. Here are some things that I’ll actually do there.

# 3 Kitt Peak National Observatory (KPNO), part of the National Optical Astronomy Observatory (NOAO), supports the most diverse collection of astronomical observatories on Earth for nighttime optical and infrared astronomy and daytime study of the Sun. Founded in 1958, KPNO operates three major nighttime telescopes, shares site responsibilities with the National Solar Observatory and hosts the facilities of consortia which operate 19 optical telescopes and two radio telescopes. (See the Tenant Observatories list.) Kitt Peak is located 56 miles southwest of Tucson, AZ, and has a Visitor Center open daily to the public.
